Limited Warranty

Rooftop Equipment warrants to the original purchaser only that the Rooftop Equipment product purchased will be free from defects, in materials and workmanship only, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Rooftop Equipment’s liability for breach of warranty hereunder is limited solely to the replacement or the repair, as the case may be, of defective equipment. The remedy hereby provided shall be the exclusive and sole remedy of the Purchaser. This limited warranty is not transferrable. Product purchase receipt should be retained to verify date of purchase and original purchaser.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

EXCEPT FOR THE ABOVE WARRANTY, ROOFTOP EQUIPMENT MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND MAKES NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ROOFTOP EQUIPMENT SHALL IN NO EVENT BE HELD LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OR DELAY CAUSED BY DEFECTIVE MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP. IN NO EVENT SHALL ROOFTOP EQUIPMENT BE HELD LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES, LOSSES OR EXPENSES, HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, MANUFACTURE, SELECTION, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, POSSESSION, USE, OPERATION OR RETURN OF THE EQUIPMENT.

Indemnity

Purchaser assumes full responsibility for and shall indemnify and hold Rooftop Equipment harmless from and against any and all liability, claim, loss, demand, action, proceeding, and expense, for bodily injury (including loss of use) to property belonging to any of the forgoing arising out of any act, or failure to act, on the part of the purchaser, its employees, agents and subcontractors in connection with installation, maintenance or use of the equipment sold hereunder.

Choice of law/Forum Selection

This warranty shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA. Any civil action relating to the equipment, including its limited warranty, shall be brought in and only in the Court of Common Pleas of Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, or, if the United States District Courts would otherwise have jurisdiction, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Purchaser hereby consents to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts, and hereby waives any objection to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

Processing & Shipping

Processing Time

Orders received by 2pm EST are typically processed and shipped that business day.  If you place your order after 2pm EST or on a non-business day, your order will be processed and shipped the next business day.  As a general rule, your order will be processed within 1-2 business days.

Shipping

The speed of delivery depends upon which shipping option you pay for at time of check out.  If you have specific needs or want to make sure you’ll have your order on a specific date, please give us a call at 800-222-6454 prior to placing your order.

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at bob@rooftopequipment.com and send your item to: 4617 New Castle Road, New Wilmington, PA, 16142, United States.

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 4617 New Castle Road, New Wilmington, PA, 16142, United States.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
